About this residency
Titanik A.i.R. invites applicants working at the intersections of sound and performance arts to apply for residencies in Turku for up to three months between March and December 2025. The programme is aimed at process- and research-based work without pressure to deliver a final work (work-in-progress can be shared through a workshop/open studio/performance/screening/talk if desired). The programme offers a studio (20 m²) adjoining Titanik and a free accommodation in a fully equipped 25 m² studio apartment near the city centre; the apartment is not wheelchair accessible. The residency is self-financed and artists cover travel and living/working expenses.
Application requirements
- Send a single PDF application to titanikgallery@gmail.com including: a motivational letter (up to 1,000 characters)
- your preferred date and length of the residency
- a link to a sample of recent work (e.g. website/Vimeo)
