About this residency
Titanik A.i.R. (sound-focused) invites applications for residencies in Turku. The application period was 9 March–6 April 2021, and the call targeted residencies in Jan–May 2022 and Sep–Dec 2022. Each residency lasts 1–3 months. The programme provides a 20 m² workspace adjoining Titanik and free accommodation in a flat near the city centre. Artists welcome/expected to present their practice during one public event (e.g. short exhibition, open studio, screening, talk or performance). Artists must fund their travel and living/working expenses.
Application requirements
- Submit one PDF file (max 4 MB) by email. The PDF must include: (1) a short motivation statement (max 1 page) with preferred residency dates and possible interest in hosting an event
- (2) a CV (max 2 pages)
- and (3) samples of recent work as one link (e.g. website or Dropbox). No attached images/files
