About this call
Titanik invites artists, artist groups and curators to submit event, project or exhibition proposals for the gallery’s 2022 programme (shorter events/projects plus longer exhibition periods of 4–5 weeks). The gallery space is free of charge and Titanik provides extensive AV equipment and gallery support; production, transport and travel costs are not covered. Approximately half of the programme is selected through the open call, and the selected projects are featured in the 2022 Titanik publication.
Application requirements
- Submit one PDF file (max 4 MB) to the exhibition coordinator Anni Saijonkivi at info@titanik.fi by 2021-05-03 (23:59 Finnish time). The application should include: a proposal (max 1 page), CV/s (max 2 pages per person) and supporting visual material (max 3 pages). Applicants should state why their project should take place at Titanik and include the duration and preferred dates, plus a preliminary plan for how the project can be activated. Proposals can be written in Finnish or English.
