IASPIS is the international programme for visual and applied arts run by the Swedish Arts Grants Committee (Konstnärsnämnden). It organises artist residencies in Stockholm and regionally (Gothenburg, Malmö, Umeå), public programmes (lectures, seminars, screenings), expert visits, publications and collaborative international projects to promote artistic development and international exchange. IASPIS does not operate as a museum with a permanent collection but as a residency and programme-based exhibition/activity platform located within Konstnärsnämnden.

Focus: International visual and applied arts: artist residencies (Stockholm and partner residencies in other Swedish cities), public programmes, expert visits, publications and international collaboration; emphasis on supporting professional artists and international exchange.
