About this residency
IASPIS operates a residency programme in Stockholm (Maria Skolgata 83) with studio places for both Sweden-based and invited international practitioners. Sweden-based artists can apply via Konstnärsnämnden’s annual application (residency periods and stipend for Sweden-based applicants are listed on the residency page). International artists are invited by IASPIS following proposals/nominations submitted via the online proposal form. The programme includes studio access, public programme opportunities (e.g., Open Studios), and a monthly stipend (Sweden-based: SEK 25,000/month; invited internationals: SEK 20,000/month). Application requirements
- Sweden-based applicants: professional artists whose primary practice is based in Sweden; applications submitted via Konstnärsnämnden e-service with mandatory work samples as specified on the application page. International artists: cannot apply directly — nomination/proposal required from colleagues, curators, critics or other actors via the proposal form.
