About this residency
Short-term workspace residencies for Finland-based artists/working groups at HIAP Gallery Augusta (Suomenlinna). Intended for artists who need larger space to develop a specific artwork/project in a production-focused, self-directed way (not open-ended research). Residents use shared workspace in Gallery Augusta and may request access to a HIAP Suomenlinna residency apartment if accommodation is needed. Workspace residents do not participate in HIAP Open Studios. Residency duration: 2–4 weeks during 2026-01-07 to 2026-03-14. HIAP does not charge a fee, but also does not provide a working grant/stipend, production budget, or travel funding.
