About this residency
HIAP and Sumud invite professional Palestinian contemporary artists residing in Palestine or the diaspora to apply for a three-month residency at HIAP Cable Factory. The residency supports artistic research and dialogue with Helsinki’s local art scene; no new work or exhibition is required, though residents may develop an exhibition proposal for possible presentation at HIAP from 2029 onwards.
Application requirements
- For professional Palestinian contemporary artists residing in Palestine or the diaspora. Submit a professional background and biography (up to 250 words), motivation statement (up to 250 words), and portfolio/previous work (maximum 10 pages) via an unrestricted external link. Applications may be written, audio, or video
