About this residency
EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art and the Saastamoinen Foundation invite applications for the second edition of the EMMA–Saastamoinen Curatorial Fellowship Programme: a six‑month paid curatorial research period in Finland (September 2026 to February 2027). The fellowship is part of a three‑year initiative that annually invites one international curator via open call. Fellowship period: 1 September 2026 – 28 February 2027. Application deadline for the second edition was October 30, 2025. The fellow will work with EMMA’s exhibition and collection teams and engage with the Saastamoinen Foundation Art Collection.
