About this residency
HIAP invites international artists and arts practitioners to apply for 3-month residencies at HIAP’s studios in Suomenlinna or the Cable Factory (Helsinki), with self-directed, process-oriented residencies and no work-scope obligation. Residencies are offered free of charge and may be hosted in Suomenlinna (80 m² live/work studio) or Cable Factory (63 m² live/work studio). Applications were accepted in Summer 2025 with a deadline of 2025-07-21. Residency periods in 2026 include Winter (Jan 7 – Apr 6), Spring (Apr 13 – Jul 6) and Autumn (Aug 17 – Nov 16).
