About this call
O—Overgaden invites Danish and international artists to apply for its 2027 exhibition programme. The Open Call asks for submissions based on the artist’s overall practice (not a finished project), emphasizing experimental, emerging and distinctive practices suitable for large-scale solo exhibitions. Deadline: 7 January 2026, 2pm (Copenhagen time).
Application requirements
- Submit your application via O—Overgaden’s online application platform. Required materials: a short summary/motivation (max 1,000 characters), a practice description (max 3,000 characters), and CV + documentation/portfolio compiled as a single PDF (max 5 MB
- recommended max ~25 images). For performance/video/sound works include links
- for longer time-based works provide shorter preview clips (recommended 2–3 minutes). Applicants must have a valid credit card to pay the 50 DKK fee. By uploading your material you consent to O—Overgaden keeping the application in archive for up to two years
