Oksasenkatu 11

Artist-run, non-profit gallery founded in 2008 and located in the Töölö district of Helsinki. OK11 presents experimental and multidisciplinary contemporary art—site-specific installations, spatial works, media art, communal projects and other forms that push the boundaries of the art field. The space does not charge rent or commissions from exhibiting artists and aims to support artist rights and alternative, non-commercial modes of presentation. The venue occupies two levels (entrance level and a cellar) with characteristic checkered floors and a cave-like lower room; accessibility is limited (steps and no elevator).
