Independent, artist-run exhibition space for contemporary art in Stavanger (founded 2013). Studio 17 is run mainly by artists and cultural workers on a voluntary basis and programs frequent short-term/pop‑up exhibitions, talks and events; it also runs residency activities and administers a municipal artist apartment.
Focus: Contemporary art (artist-run/artist-initiated exhibitions); short-term pop-up exhibitions and public programs; residencies and support for emerging/experimental practices.
