About this residency
Two three-year studio grants (Werner Åström and Helena Åström ateljées) at the Vallila Studio Centre in Helsinki. The stipend covers the cost of renting the studio for the three-year period; studios are for working only (not residence). Recipients are selected by the Board of the Artists’ Association of Finland.
Application requirements
- Apply via the online application service (astromhaku.artcurator.io). Evaluation considers professional activity, current studio/workspace situation, studio needs and upcoming exhibitions/projects. Studios may be applied for by working groups. Recipients must commit to working in the studio for the entire three-year period without lengthy (>6 months) work periods abroad.
