About this residency
Two‑month documentary photography/film residency run by Sune Jonsson Centrum för dokumentärfotografi (SJCD) at Västerbottens museum. The residency is aimed at photographers and filmmakers (applicants resident in Sweden). It includes accommodation in the museum’s ‘Rosa huset’ on the Gammlia site, curator mentorship, access to the museum photo archive and staff support, and a stipend to cover working time and materials. Applications are submitted by email and must include a CV, portfolio (max 10 MB), a project idea and a personal letter; juried selection. (See museum listing for full requirements and dates).
