About this residency
The IASPIS international residency programmes (International Programme for Visual and Applied Arts) are run in collaboration with local partners in Gothenburg, Malmö, and Umeå. International artists who are based outside Sweden are invited to apply through proposals from the local partners; each year two foreign practitioners are invited to each location. The Umeå partnership includes Umeå Municipality, Umeå Art Academy, Bildmuseet, Vita Kuben, Museum Anna Nordlander, and Verkligheten, among others.
