About this residency
A Nordic/Baltic region residency funded by Nordic Culture Point. Three artists based outside Finland (from Nordic/Baltic region) will undertake a 3-month residency at HIAP Suomenlinna, including a 3-day retreat to TUO TUO in Joutsa. The residency focuses on material practices (biomaterials, waste, circular economies) and sustainable materials, with a final publication, a possible lab presentation, and engagement with HIAP’s wider network.
