Open Call 2026 — Exhibition proposals (Galleria Aski)

Galleria Aski (Taiteen talo, Nunnankatu 4, Turku) ran an open call for exhibition proposals for the 2026 programme. The gallery is artist-run by Rettigin kuvataiteilijat ry and consists of two rooms (total ~69 m²). Typical exhibition period is ca. 3 weeks; hanging days Tue–Thu; openings Thu 17:00–19:00; last exhibition day Sunday; takedown Sunday after 16:00 and/or Monday. Exhibition service fee: 600–800 € (depends on external funding) — this fee covers publicity, electronic invitation and poster design, poster printing & distribution, hanging assistance, supervision, cleaning and a non-alcoholic opening reception. Sales commission (gallery take) is 30% (0% VAT). Artists are responsible for their own work insurance. Application instructions (as published): submit one PDF (max 3 MB) named surname-firstname-askihaku.pdf to haku.galleriaaski@gmail.com containing: 1) exhibition proposal; 2) CV (max 2 pages per artist); 3) image material (max 5 images). Selections were to be notified in week 22.
