About this call
Galleria Huuto published an exhibition-slot open call for the 2026 exhibition calendar. The call invited proposals for the gallery's four spaces (Huuto I, Huuto II, Huuto III and Huuto IV — Huuto IV can be darkened and is suitable for media work). Exhibition periods are four weeks (includes hanging and dismantling). Exhibition fees (as listed on Galleria Huuto's how-to-apply page): Huuto I €800; Huuto II €700; Huuto III €900; Huuto IV €500.
Submission requirements: a single PDF (name the file Last-Firstname) containing contact details, a short exhibition plan (max 1 page), up to 5 images and a one-page CV; maximum single-email attachment size 4 MB (you may alternatively send a link to a single PDF). Applications accepted in Finnish and English; send to haku@galleriahuuto.fi.
Selection is made by Galleria Huuto's member artists; applicants are notified when decisions are ready (page notes responses by early March). The page also lists exhibition fees and notes that the gallery began handling sales in 2025 and that from 2026 a sales commission (up to 20%) may be applied (to be confirmed at the annual meeting).
