About this call
A Romanian–Finnish photographic and lens-based art project by LUOVAKE (Centre for Creative Photography, Jyväskylä) in collaboration with CATEDRA (Iasi, Romania). The call invites artists based in Romania or Finland working with photography (including post-photography, video, experimental, hybrid, interdisciplinary and multimedia practices). Selected projects will be developed with curatorial dialogue and will result in two exhibitions in 2027 (including one exhibition at Galeria Ratamo, Jyväskylä) plus a printed publication (end of 2026) featuring short artist bios and representative projects.
Application requirements
- Submit by email with the subject line “COMMON BORDERS”. Include (in one PDF, max 5 MB): (1) a project plan, (2) short bio, and (3) CV.
