About this call
Vent Space (student-run project room at the Estonian Academy of Arts) invites proposals for its January–September 2019 programme. The call is primarily for EKA students, but ideas from others may be considered (the team will try to find a suitable time if there are gaps). Vent Space is described as student-run, experimental, flexible, and risk-taking.
Possible proposal formats include: shorter proposals/events (from ~1 hour up to a month); longer events such as discussion circles, film evenings, pop-up exhibitions, performances, presentations; exhibitions and studio formats (1–3 weeks); and a summer residency format (about a month, including an obligation for one open studio day). Group proposals are welcome.
Application must include: (1) applicants’ contact details; (2) a substantive project description and, if possible, visual material; and (3) a preferred time for the activity. The page notes a main deadline of 31 December (and that proposals were also expected to be received later on a rolling basis).
Application requirements
- Include: applicants’ contact details
- a substantive project description (and visual material if possible)
