About this call
HAM’s Space for New Art open call 2026 (“I Desire!”) is accepting applications 2026-02-05 to 2026-03-01. The call invites exhibition proposals exploring sensuality and embodiment (love, passion, desire) and encourages queer perspectives. Production support of €3,000 (gross) and an artist fee of €4,000 (gross) will be paid to selected artists; exhibition remuneration is determined by Kuvasto. The first exhibition period available for applications begins in May 2027.
Application requirements
- Professional visual artists may apply with new, original exhibition proposals (no group shows, previously exhibited works, or curator-led concepts). Submit one PDF (max. 5 MB) including a CV, images, artist statement, and a concise project plan describing the exhibition concept, spatial approach, feasibility, relevance, and alignment with HAM’s criteria; incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
