About this call
Galleri Lokomotiv (ÖKKV) invites artists to apply for exhibitions in their 2027 program. The exhibition calendar for 2026 is fully booked, and applications are now open for the 2027 exhibition season. Artists from Sweden, Scandinavia, and internationally are welcome to apply (with conditions for non-Scandinavian applicants - see below).
The deadline for submitting applications is: 15 January 2026.
Application requirements
- To apply for an exhibition at Galleri Lokomotiv, artists must submit a single PDF file labeled with their name.
- This PDF should contain a short presentation of the artist and their practice, along with a description of the exhibition idea they wish to realize at the gallery. The application must also include a complete CV that outlines education, projects, exhibitions, grants, and scholarships, each clearly stated with dates and locations.
- In addition, applicants should include 5-6 images of recent artworks that represent their current practice. Links to a website or social media, such as Instagram, may also be added if available. Once the PDF is complete, it should be emailed to okkv@telia.com with the subject line “ansökan–utställning.” The deadline for submitting applications is January 15, 2026.
