Center for contemporary art in Malmö that produces and presents exhibitions, lectures, seminars and other events focused on current issues and contemporary art production. Operates with a collective, curatorial working method and an emphasis on collaboration, experimentation and a careful ("slow") approach to the artistic process. SIGNAL was founded in 1998 by a group of artists and also runs an artist archive (started 2004) and a small bookshop.

Focus: Contemporary art: producing and presenting exhibitions, talks and seminars; collective curatorial practice; artist archive and bookshop; emphasis on collaboration and experimental projects.
