Photographic Gallery Hippolyte

Artist-run, non-profit exhibition space in central Helsinki (inner courtyard at Yrjönkatu 8–10) focusing on photographic art and its extended field. The gallery is maintained by the Association of Photographic Artists, operates two exhibition spaces (approx. 72 m² and 13 m²), includes a photobook shop, and programs mostly solo shows selected by peer review; typical exhibition periods are 4–5 weeks and the gallery is open Tue–Fri 12–17, Sat–Sun 12–16 (closed in July).
