Leading contemporary art gallery in Helsinki. Founded in Turku in 1977 by Kaj Forsblom, the gallery moved to Helsinki in 1983 and has operated at the corner of Yrjönkatu 22 and Lönnrotinkatu 5 since 2011. Presents about 15–20 temporary exhibitions a year of distinguished international and Finnish artists across painting, sculpture and various media, and is an active participant at major international art fairs.
Focus: Contemporary art (international and Finnish artists); emphasis on painting and sculpture plus installations and site-specific projects; a separate studio space for younger artists; commercial gallery programme with frequent temporary exhibitions and international art-fair representation.
