Artist-run, non-profit contemporary art gallery in central Malmö, established in 1985. Rostrum puts the artist at the centre and presents a varied programme of national and international contemporary art — roughly 10 exhibitions a year — together with projects and public events such as Art After Work (AAW) and Projekt Rostrum. The gallery also engages in exchanges with other artist-run platforms and participates in fairs and festivals. It is run by the artist collective Konstnärsgruppen Rostrum with support from Kulturrådet (Swedish Arts Council), Malmö Stad and Region Skåne.

Focus: Contemporary and experimental art; artist-run exhibitions and projects; site-specific and process-oriented events (Art After Work); international and national exchanges; non-commercial, member-driven programme; no major permanent collection.
