About
Contemporary art gallery presenting high-quality Finnish and international contemporary art. The gallery gives a platform to mid‑career artists while also highlighting younger artists and typically mounts around ten temporary exhibitions a year in the historic Maaherran makasiini (magazine) building designed by Charles Bassi in the 1830s. Founded in Turku in 2016 by Frej Forsblom; the gallery continues to operate its Turku flagship and opened a new gallery space in Helsinki (Pasila / the former Train Factory) in September 2025.
Focus: Contemporary Finnish and international artists; emphasis on mid‑career and emerging artists; rotating temporary exhibitions (≈10/year); ambitious large‑scale shows, participation in international art fairs, and appointment viewings/private showroom in the Helsinki space.
