Wetterling Gallery was founded in Sweden in 1978 by Björn Wetterling and has become one of Scandinavia’s leading contemporary art galleries. The program mixes internationally acclaimed and Sweden-based artists (historically presenting names such as Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist and Frank Stella) and is underpinned by published exhibition catalogues and public events. The main gallery is located in the historical Kungsträdgården park in Stockholm and stages around seven major exhibitions per year; a section was converted into a Project Space in 2015 for pop-up presentations. The gallery also runs an editions shop and digital sales services for collectors.
Focus: Contemporary art (painting, photography, sculpture, installations and limited editions); shows both international modern/contemporary artists and Swedish artists; program includes main exhibitions, a project space for pop-ups, published catalogues, limited editions and online/digital sales.
